A pretty Victorian cottage in a woodland setting needed a design that was sympathetic to its surroundings. Oak sleepers were therefore chosen to retain land that sloped upwards from the house, forming raised terraced beds. This created a sheltered seating area and patio, with further paths leading through romantic planting with roses and hydrangea. Paving details added to the charm of the location.
