Designer

Designing a garden is an opportunity to find atmosphere and character in a place. Colour, light, texture, sound, smell and even taste – all the senses are engaged in the garden. Combined effectively the spirit of the garden can inspire and excite, it can uplift and calm.

My aim is to make an outdoor space that enriches its user’s life, providing sanctuary, enhanced wellbeing and pleasure.

I trained first as a painter, teacher, became a mother, gardener and have arrived at a discipline that gathers from all these experiences.

‘’A garden is a delight to the eye, and a solace to the soul, it soothes angry passions, and produces pleasure which is a foretaste of paradise.
